SKOTS Commercial & Fleet Services uses the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, confirm vehicle fit, and arrange requested service.

Information in a service request

The form asks for your business name, contact name, phone number, and service needed. You may also provide an email address, request details, vehicle information, and preferred timing. Please avoid including payment details or other sensitive information in the form.

Where the request goes

Your request is stored privately in this website's WordPress database for authorized administrators to review. When notifications are enabled, its details are also emailed to the recipient configured by the site administrator. Hosting and email services process this information to operate the website and deliver notifications.

Drafts and spam prevention

If JavaScript is enabled, the form temporarily keeps a draft in your browser's session storage so your entries can be restored after a page reload. The draft is cleared after a confirmed submission. Browser session storage normally ends when the tab is closed.

The request endpoint uses a short-lived salted hash of the connection IP address to limit repeated submissions. The plugin does not save raw IP addresses with service requests. The hosting service may keep its own standard server logs.

Keeping and accessing information

Service request records are kept while needed for enquiries, service administration, and related business records. Contact SKOTS if you need to correct information or ask about access or removal. Requests will be reviewed in light of applicable business and recordkeeping needs.
