Inspection Preparation
When a Massachusetts safety and emissions inspection is coming due, SKOTS can coordinate that timing with a comprehensive PM visit.
A CMI ahead of the state inspection helps identify items that may prevent the vehicle from passing and address them beforehand whenever practical. We can also track inspection due dates as part of maintenance planning.
Tire Care &
Planned Replacement
Tire care is a recurring maintenance item, not just a response to a visibly low or worn tire.
- Check and adjust pressures; document tread depth.
- Inspect irregular wear, cuts, cracking, and damage.
- Identify alignment or suspension-related wear patterns.
- Flag tires nearing replacement and plan ahead.
When possible, replacement tires can be ready for a scheduled PM visit, reducing separate appointments and unnecessary downtime.

PM is available for eligible company cars, trades and service pickups and vans, delivery vans, small dealership and support fleets, seasonal-use vehicles including plow trucks, mixed fleets, or a single company vehicle. The same shop-capacity limits apply. You can also use SKOTS for individual service without joining a PM program.
